Happily married with six children, seventeen grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren Brenda's personal and professional lives are intertwined with a shared commitment to nurturing families and communities. With over thirty years of invaluable experience across various healthcare settings, her expertise in women's health and labor and delivery spans a remarkable sixteen years. A proud alumna of East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, Brenda earned her Bachelor's Degree in 2004 before furthering her education at Frontier Nursing University, where she obtained her Master's Degree in 2013. As a Certified Nurse Midwife\/Women's Healthcare Nurse Practitioner, Brenda's mission is to extend compassionate care to women and their families in Waco and the surrounding areas. Having witnessed the miracle of childbirth in both hospital and home settings, Brenda's approach to midwifery is deeply rooted in the belief that every woman deserves to be an active participant in her healthcare journey. She champions the midwifery model of care, advocating for shared decision-making and empowering women to make informed choices about their health. She was redeemed as a wife in 2016 when she married her husband, Shane. Driven by her unwavering faith and belief in divine purpose, Jennifer views her path to Waco Birth Center as a calling orchestrated by God. Kenzie brings a dynamic blend of creativity, organizational excellence, and heartfelt dedication to her role as Assistant Director at Waco Birth Center & Clinic. She plays a key role in program planning, operational optimization, and staffing coordination\u2014ensuring the birth center runs efficiently and with purpose. Her innovative spirit and attention to detail support the team in delivering exceptional, client-centered care. As one of founder Brenda Keep\u2019s grandchildren, Kenzie\u2019s connection to the birth center is deeply personal. Her work is infused with a strong sense of legacy, community, and family pride. A Waco native and Crawford High School graduate, Kenzie joined the team shortly after graduating in 2019 and has grown into a valued and integral part of the organization. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Kenzie is an active member of Acts Church in Waco and has a deep passion for holistic health, clean living, and traditional wellness. She embraces a vibrant, self-sufficient lifestyle on her homestead, where she tends a garden and orchard, keeps bees, and cares for a variety of animals\u2014including chickens, turkeys, quail, a dairy cow named Blue Belle, and her energetic and loyal border collies. Raw milk, natural remedies, and whole-food nutrition are central to her family's lifestyle and health philosophy. Kenzie\u2019s love for sustainable agriculture fuels her dream of one day owning a farm where she can educate others and share her knowledge of regenerative practices and holistic living.
