Childbirth Education Classes

Are you interested in Childbirth Education Courses? We offer them on the last Saturday of every month! 
 
The classes are located at our center. Classes are available for both members and non-member of the clinic!
 
We cover topics such as:

  • Coping Techniques
  • Labor Management
  • Position Changes
  • Placenta (what is it, and what do i do with it?)
  • Immediate Newborn Care/Procedures
  • Immediate Postpartum Care

We are a Faith Based Non-Profit

Waco Birth Center and Clinic chose to be a Faith Based Non-Profit organization due to the fact that the founders felt called by God to form WBCC. Faith has always been important to our family as a whole and we believe it's important to many families in the community. WBCC was started as a Non-Profit Organization in hopes that it would enable us to serve a bigger population. Part of our calling is to provide healthcare for the underserved population. We provide this service by having affordable cash pay options for uninsured clients. We also have a high clientele of Medicaid patients receiving our care. We are the only birth center in Waco and surrounding areas that accept Medicaid patients. We are honored to serve this population in our community. Waco Birth Center and Clinic is governed by a Board of Directors. We are committed to promoting education and advancement in the midwifery community and support worthy community based causes as may be determined by the Board of Directors.

We absolutely loved the Waco Birth Center. Brenda and her team are amazing. So informative and helpful, taking extra time to ensure your education of pregnancy and newborn care. My husband enjoyed being able to be such a part of everything and able to help so much during delivery. Just had my 2nd baby last night. Brenda Keep & her staff were absolutely amazing!! Brenda has such a natural intuition on what momma & baby need during the labor process. I'm pretty independent, research tons of stuff, and have a gameplan for how we'd like things to go. They were so respectful and willing to go over anything I had ?s about..no matter how small. They r so genuine & right there with you as an emotional support while knowing what to do in the heat of the moment. I was overdue w/this baby and this week was tough for me to keep it together. I balled a little at my checkup & they were absolutely amazing. I couldn't have had a better birth experience. If you are looking for a genuine caring team, look no further. This is the place to go!
